3rd April 2020
I would like to thank you so much for the effort and dedication you have put into home learning over the last couple of weeks. We know that things will not always have gone to plan and are totally appreciative of what you have been able to do. The items posted on the website and class dojo are ideas and as parents, you can ask your children to complete them depending on what you feel is best for you and your child. Thank you to so many of you who have been sharing your child’s achievements and progress. New work packs will arrive the week beginning 20th April for the new term.
Today marks the start of the Easter Holidays. This week at school combined with our English and Maths learning, would have been filled with Easter Bonnet parades, the Big Bushbury Bake-off, a disco for the Always Bees, singing Easter songs and making Easter cards to send home to you. We are as sorry as you that these did not happen. I want you and your children to enjoy being with each other this Easter holiday. Be creative, play games and enjoy this precious family time.
School remains open in the Easter Holidays for vulnerable children and children of key workers. Some staff will work on a rota in school and others have chosen to continue to make deliveries of food to those entitled to FSM, each week of the holidays. I want to take this opportunity to thank all my staff for their hard work at home and in school over the last few weeks. I am lucky to have such a supportive team. Other staff, as with all the children will now have a break from their work and class dojo. We are here for you though and if you need us, please call the school number or contact myself (Mrs Underwood) on Class Dojo.
Stay in, stay safe and look after yourselves.
With my very best wishes,
Mrs C Underwood
