Reading Ambassadors: Year 5 and 6 Reading Ambassadors have been selected to support the reading fluency and comprehension of the younger children within school.  They support, encourage and promote the importance of reading to more reluctant readers: to ensure that they can improve their love of reading within school and at home.  The ambassadors use their own time to model reading with the younger children: they read to them; listen to them read; check their keyword understanding and develop their confidence in reading for all subjects.  As a school, we want our children to develop a love of reading that will allow them to experience the enjoyment and creativity that Reading for Pleasure can bring.
