Bushbury Hill Primary Schools works with ABM Catering to provide the school meals. ABM are renowned for their commitment to deliver quality, nutrition, and sustainability. They offer a diverse menu that caters to various dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that all children have access to healthy and delicious meals.

 

The three-week menu offers a full range of hot and cold options to meet all dietary needs.  This includes a choice of 2 main meals, filled jacket potatoes, pasta option and freshly made baguettes or sandwiches. In addition, two seasonal vegetables, a range of salads and fresh bread are all served.  For dessert, children can choose between the dessert of the day, yoghurt or a fruit cube. 

 

Costs of Paid Meals – All means are free to children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. From Year 3, prices will be charged at £2.50 per meal, which is £12.50 per week. If you are entitled to Free School Meals, then you will continue to receive these without charge. For more information on claiming FSM, please see the office.

 

School Trips – Children on a trip will be able to order a packed lunch to take with them. This is available for both paying children and those who have FSM (Free school meals).

 

Healthy Lunchboxes – If you choose to send your child in with a packed lunch, we ask that this be healthy and balanced. Due to children with severe allergies, we ask for no nuts to be included, so that we can keep all children safe.
